WARRANTY & TERMS OF SERVICE


*All forms of the warranties offer no cash value. *It is recommended to always make a back up of your data prior to repair. Geebo is not responsible for loss of data. *Geebo is not responsible for compensatory or punitive damages.

*Geebo does not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges of any kind

Screen Repairs: Screen replacements are covered under a 90 day limited warranty. This warranty allows for a full screen replacement if a defect presents itself within the first 90 days. A defect can be defined (but not limited to) by the following:

1) Broken pixels in the LCD not caused by impact
2) Issues with the touch screen that can be viewed by our staff which wasn’t the result of impact
3) Backlight fails and doesn’t display the screen properly not caused by impact.

The determination of whether or not the device succumbed to impact related defects is up to the discretion of our staff. We view the overall condition of the phone and our screen to make that determination. The following issues that may present themselves are not covered under our 90 day limited warranty:

1) CRACKS OF ANY KIND ON THE GLASS OR LCD
2) Damage to the LCD or digitizer or glass which was the result of the screen lifting out from its frame. The lifting effect is typically caused by a bend in the frame or impact or expended parts, which is not covered under our 90 day limited warranty.

Warranty may be voided if there are signs of liquid damage prior to, or after repair. Warranty is voided if device is opened up or worked on by someone other than Geebo employees.

Internal Parts: Internal part repair is defined by any repair that is not a screen replacement or a logic/motherboard repair. Internal part repairs are covered under our 90 day limited warranty. This warranty allows for a replacement of any part that has presented a defect 90 days or less after installation. In the circumstance that the defective part requires a subsequent part(s) to be replaced due to the design of the phone, the warranty only covers a replacement of the exact part defected and not the subsequent part(s). If an internal part, that prior to a repair was fully functional, has now become damaged during the repair, a replacement part will be offered unless otherwise stated. The determination of whether or not a part worked prior to a repair is based off of the feedback from both customer and Geebo technician. The likely hood of damaging said part during the particular repair in question, as well as surrounding factors will also be brought into consideration while assessing liability. The final decision on liability will be made be a Geebo technician.

Water Damage: During a water damage repair we are unable to warranty anything besides parts we install. The parts we install fall under the “internal parts” warranty. In the case that we install parts into a device that is undergoing a motherboard cleaning or “water damage repair” and the phone itself becomes permanently unusable after we have successfully offered a motherboard repair we are unable to offer a refund on parts installed.

Unlocks Unlocks offer a lifetime warranty with the following exceptions:
1) if the device was or has become flagged or blacklisted or in Apples case “iCloud locked”.
2) The device itself has a hardware malfunction related to cellphone reception.
3) The device not being compatible with certain towers preventing it to receive data or cellular signals. Once payment has been received and the unlock has been processed a refund can not be issued unless there’s an error processing unlocks. This is due to the fact that our suppliers do not have the ability to get refunded once unlocks have been processed.

Disclaimer: Any device left at our shop for 45 days or more will become the property of Geebo Device Repair. No exceptions.

Apple’s terms and services state: If your device is worked on by someone other than a Apple certified tech it may void your warranty. Most other cellphone manufactures have similar warranties as well.
